This project consists of an installation and a series of miniature copperplate prints, made mostly from found objects and discarded everyday materials. Hand-drawn fragments of daily life are etched onto transparent plastic sheets using drypoint, leaving behind subtle marks. Viewers must manually activate a light to reveal and overlay these images through a small slide projector—like searching for blurred moments in memory. Another set of images, sourced from casually collected online snapshots of everyday life, is printed in copperplate on discarded cigarette papers stained with lipstick. These digital, fleeting, and ambiguous images—often scrolled past without a second thought—are reprinted on a material destined to be thrown away, becoming a quiet gaze upon the overlooked moments and emotions of daily life. Waste, in this context, is not just material but metaphor—a reflection on what is ignored, used up, or perhaps secretly treasured.
